Duke and Prince, now known as Princeton, were a bonded pair. After being fostered for an extended period of time because pairs and seniors are not the easiest dogs to place, a home was finally found for them. Unfortunately, the day before this adoption was to take place, Princeton was diagnosed with liver cancer. Naturally, the adoption was off!
Their wonderful foster mom decided to adopt them both, thinking that Princeton would not be with her for very long, but that he deserved to live out his days, with his brother, in a loving home.
Now almost 2 years later, Princeton is doing well. Last summer the family moved to California for a job opportunity, but at the end of this summer, they will be returning to South Florida, because “Mom” is really a Florida girl. We will be glad to greet them when they arrive.
