Status: Needs Forever Home
This handsome, affectionate big boy is named Tyson. He’s our other new arrival from Istanbul and he’s approximately 3-4 years old. We know a little more about him because his Turkish rescuer is the person who accompanied both him and Shayna on the plane to the United States. She tells us that she rescued Tyson a while ago and found a home for him in Turkey. However, the family returned him to her for no good reason. She says that, from now on, she wants all her rescues to become Americans because our dogs are treated like part of the family. That’s certainly true of our EGRR adopters!
Tyson is very strong and rambunctious with lots of enthusiasm for everything. He needs to lose about 15-20 pounds because he was fed table scraps instead of a nutritious, balanced canine diet. In spite of that, he’s quite healthy and is ready to go to his forever home.
Tyson needs an active family that will work hard to train him. Obedience training will be part of his adoption agreement. Again, as with all our “Turkey Dogs”, he requires a fenced yard and no small children in the home. His adoption fee is $600 with an additional $50 refundable training deposit.
So, if you think you can give our new American boy the type of home where he’s treated as part of the family, please contact EGRR as soon as possible!
