Place a Golden

If for some reason you find it impossible for you to keep your Golden Retriever, please take the time to get in touch with us.  Kindly provide us with enough information to insure your pet can be matched with an applicants needs/personality.

We are dedicated to saving Golden Retrievers that have been abandoned, left in animal shelters and we provide placement services for owners who must give up their Golden Retrievers.  If it is impossible for you to keep your Golden Retriever, please contact us.  Either complete the form below or contact our hotline 954-748-3507. A volunteer will arrange to meet with you and evaluate your dog. We require owners to inform us of any health and behavioral concerns with the dog and to sign a surrender contract giving up all rights to the dog. If your dog is deemed adoptable, we will place it in temporary foster care until we can find a new owner.   We request a $100 donation for a dog that is not neutered or spayed or a $50 donation for neutered/spayed dogs at the time the dog is turned over to EGRR.  Fee will be waived if all of  the following conditions are met:

• Dog is spayed or neutered and,
• Dog is up to date on shots and current on heartworm prevention and is heartworm negative
• One month supply of heartworm (flea) preventative is donated to EGRR
• Ten pounds of premium dog food is donated to EGRR.
