Meet Bruno, a handsome 1.5 year old boy who was rescued by a good Samaritan from a home where he was being neglected and left on a concrete patio to live his life. The family had no time for him, and he had never been to a vet. Bruno’s rescuer quickly fell in love and wanted to keep him but didn’t have a fenced yard where he could run and play. She realized that he needed more than she could provide, so she contacted EGRR.
Bruno is a typical, active, young Golden puppy (yes, Goldens are considered puppies until they are about 3 years old!). He is housebroken and very healthy. His blood work and Heartworm tests were all negative, so he’s good to go to a foster or an adoptive home.
Bruno loves being petted and loves people. He got along with the rescuer’s Dachshund and appears to like other dogs. She described him as happy, attentive, smart, a quick learner and loves being touched.
Bruno is quite active and EGRR will require obedience classes as a requisite for his adoption. He needs an active family who will put the time and love into him…..and those lucky people will reap the rewards that only a Golden’s happy, wagging tail can give!
