Can you give our boy Chimmi a second chance? Chimmi is a 2.5 year old, very handsome boy with an affectionate personality and an adorable charm. He loves his lessons and to work with his trainer. Being a Golden Retriever, of course he loves belly rubs and receiving lots of love from his “people”. Chimmi also has a strong bond with his friend, Chanel, another wonderful Golden in our rescue program.

Unfortunately, Chimmi had some traumatic experiences in his past with small kids. They’ve scared him and played inappropriately with him. This makes him wary of their presence, so EGRR is looking for a home with no small children.

Chimmi’s “friendship” with Chanel has helped him gain confidence and has improved his ability to interact with other dogs. He is learning to play, an important skill for any dog. Taking him to a dog park would not be a good idea at this point.

Chimmi is ready for his “forever home”, but needs a calm, understanding and safe environment without small children. We are hoping to find the perfect home for this very handsome boy. Can your family be his “happy ending”? If so, please fill out an application using the link below.
