Lucero (age 9) and Fifi (age 6) are father and daughter. They’re both affectionate, sweet Goldens, despite having both had an extremely tough life. They were forced to live outdoors without veterinary care and both are heartworm positive. Each had been to the vet only once in their lifetime: Lucero to be neutered, and Fifi when she was a puppy, for an infected leg.
They are both receiving heartworm treatment at Clint Moore Animal Hospital, but would love to be in a foster home while doing so.
Fifi is shy, and Lucero is afraid of thunder, but both seem to do great when they are together. They came EGRR shaved, but will surely have beautiful coats in a few short months.
