Hi, I'm

EGRR was contacted by a wonderful trainer who trains dogs as service animals. She’s also trained several of our “crazy” Goldens and has done an incredible job. As you may know, the training for service animals is quite rigorous and only certain dogs meet the requirements. Sadie, a beautiful spayed Golden who is almost 10 months old (born January 2022), didn’t quite make the cut. It seems that she’s a little too uneasy meeting strangers. A service animal needs to be comfortable in all situations.

The trainer asked EGRR if we could assist her in finding the perfect home for this adorable, sweet girl. The people who know her best describe her as, “Sweet, goofy, smart, affectionate, shy and feminine with a soft coat.” She can be cautious with new people or in unusual situations. She also LOVES to run and play with other dogs.

Her fearfulness manifests itself in the occasional growl at strangers. She’s never shown teeth or snapped, and once she gets used to a new person, she’s fine and is quite affectionate.

We are looking for a quiet home with no children. That being said, she’s quite active and should have a fenced yard and people who are also active. A fur sibling would be great!
